Oxidemod permissions management
This article instructs you how to change server player permissions.

You must have the Oxidemod add-on installed in order to manage permissions.
Check out the installation of the Oxidemod add-on here: https://help.bittivirta.fi/en/article/installation-of-oxidemod-add-on-to-rust-server-1byi1xr/

Permissions
With permissions, the server owner is able to allow players benefits that they would not necessarily have as standard.
Giving permissions to players is simple. You can give a certain permission to a specific player, or you can create groups that already have certain privileges.

If you experience problems when you provide permissions, check if Oxidemod is sure to be installed and if you have already installed the necessary add-on. Instructions for installing add-ons here: --INSERT HERE--

When editing permissions from the server (F1), you must have administrative privileges for the server. All commands work equally well in the gamepanel as well. We recommend using the player's Steamid64 instead of the player's name, and you can see it from the gamepanel when the player connects to the server.

Giving permission to an individual player
Replace the user name “PLAYER” with the name of the desired player and using the correct access variable in the add-on instead of “add-on.use”! Add-ons may support “wild permissions” (add-on.*), giving all commands privileges.

Add permission to player - oxide.grant user PLAYER add-on.use
Remove permission from player - oxide.revoke user PLAYER add-on.use
Check player permissions - oxide.show user PLAYER

Create and manage access groups
Replace the group name “GROUP” with the desired group name.

Create group - oxide.group add GROUP
Delete group - oxide.group remove GROUP
Show all groups - oxide.show groups

Adding members to groups
Replace the group name “GROUP” with the desired group name. Replace the name “PLAYER” with the name of the desired player.

Show all group members - oxide.show group GROUP
Add user to group - oxide.usergroup add PLAYER GROUP
Remove user from group - oxide.usergroup remove PLAYER GROUP

Giving permissions to groups
Replace the group name “GROUP” with the desired group name. Please use the correct access variable for the add-on instead of “add-on.use”! Add-ons may support “wild permissions” (add-on.*), giving all commands privileges.

Add permission to group - oxide.grant group GROUP add-on.use
Remove permission from group - oxide.revoke group GROUP add-on.use
Add “parent group” to group - oxide.group parent GROUP default

Additional commands
Please use the correct access variable for the add-on instead of “add-on.use”!

Find out all users and groups with a specific permission - oxide.show perm add-on.use
